Focus on what you want to achieve

FOCUS - follow one course until successful

How to get rid of self doubt

If you suffer from a lack of confidence that you can achieve things… if you see the glass as half empty rather than half full… if you worry all the time about every little thing… then this message is just for you. Here’s why…

There is a way to get the outcome you desire and deserve every time. And you need to realize, there is a cost to not dealing with this.

If you ignore it, it just gets worse

What most people do when facing self doubt is they shut themselves away, give up on their ambitions and revert to what they know. But for most people, none of that works.

  • you see problems where there are none
  • you end up feeling more miserable and unhappy
  • you end up eating and drinking unhealthy things to make you feel better
  • you get distracted by every new bright shiny object in the hope it will help you feel
  • you feel bitter and resentful toward those that have what you want.

And what happens if you just do nothing? If you just keep doing what you’ve been doing? Let me tell you. You’ll end up lying on your deathbed thinking about all the things you never did in your life.

How I managed to stop renting and buy my first ever house, aged 42

I’ve got an answer that works.

I felt depressed thinking I was never going to own my own home.

On paper I thought I could afford to buy a place, but not where I was living. I could not see past the obstacles. The lack of a deposit. The increasing cost of homes in my area. The fact every house I was interested in seemed to have been sold by the time I got there to view it.

Then one day I read a quote by Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right!”

And that changed everything. It hit me! It was about so much more than the words on the page.

That quote had the potential to change everything in my life.

I started to take a different approach. I started to think about what I wanted, not what could stop me and get in my way

I let my imagination play. I started to believe things could happen the way I wanted them to.

It worked for me, and it will work for you too

Here’s what it did for me… every morning in the shower I started telling myself, “I can achieve anything I set my mind to!” That made a big difference.

Within a matter of weeks, we managed to sell a house that wouldn’t sell, we found a place we loved and we got our offer accepted.

In the weeks after that, having served notice on my rented property, (a bit too early it turns out) I found myself with a seller who was going too slow for the timeframe (I had) set.

We then found out nearly 300 new homes are going to be built near to our new home. Then other delays and problems threatened to derail our house purchase.

But we pushed on. Instead of focusing on what could go wrong, I worked out ways around them.

We sought advice from people in the know about the property development. We found temporary accommodation for a few days until we could get the keys. We put the cat into a cattery where she would be well looked after.

And we went to meet the people selling the house and spent over 2 ½ hours together chatting and getting to know each other.

As you read this, we will be settling into our new home (fingers crossed).

Finally, it’s your turn

When you start to FOCUS today, you’ll get the key to…

  • realising your very own dreams and desires
  • walking around with a smile on your face
  • feeling wonderful and wanting to test yourself even more
  • Proving to yourself and others that you can do it
As Robert Kiyosaki said, follow one course until successful. #focus

It all comes down to the way you think about things and prioritise. The books you read, the people you hang around with, the way you set yourself targets and how you reward yourself are key to the new you.

Get rid of the distraction and FOCUS.

It’s decision time

You have a choice to make: do what you’ve been doing (or worse, do nothing at all). You know where that will lead. Is that really where you want to go?

Take a new action, and get a new result. Finally take control of your life and get the results you desire and deserve every single time.

Which do you really want for yourself? Here’s what to do now… Share this message with your friends. Start believing in yourself and realise the outcome you get depends on your personal mindset more than anything-else.

Start believing in yourself. The outcome you get depends on your mindset. #believe
