Picture the scene. It’s really warm, somewhere in the mid-twenties and the sun is beaming down. Nellie (our cat) is leaping around trying to catch butterflies and I’m lay on the sun lounger grabbing a bit of quiet-time in the garden. “It’s time to get your message out, but how?” a voice went off inside my head (again). The thing is you see dear reader, I have always struggled to write consistently to my blog. It seems to be one of those things I get all excited about from time to time and then manage to write only sporadically. Perhaps that’s something you can relate to?
“I’ve got it!” A flash of inspiration. Trish has just passed 50 days unbroken of walking 10,000 steps per day. This all started when I bought her a Fitbit wrist band for her Birthday. Little did I realise JUST how much she would fall in love with the thing.
Now my Wife is in good shape anyway, being a Pilates instructor and co-founder of The Pilates Foundry. Initially she wanted to committed herself to walking 10,000 steps every single day for one month. At first she found that relatively easy, and got used to building time into her day so she ensured she got that satisfying little ‘buzz’ every day when the wristband told her she’d passed the mark. Now though, she’s almost addicted and she is setting herself new targets. That’s what got me thinking.
Here’s the thing; it starts with commitment. I’m committing myself right here, right now, to writing for thirty days straight thirty different ways you can take action to improve your customer experience and grow your business. I know it won’t be easy and I don’t even know for sure what I will cover each day, but one thing is for sure – I’m not giving up. I am committed to do this and by putting it out there publicly you can help hold me to the task.
So please join me as I share my experiences with you and let’s see where this thing takes us…
